PROGRAMME
The State of the Map Nigeria 2022 will take place from 1st to 3rd December 2022 in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. We have planned for a wide range of activities we believe will be exciting and beneficial to the OpenStreetMap community. For the duration of the conference, we have rooms set aside for breakout sessions that can be booked by groups of mutual interest, or used without prior planning.
Day One – Thursday, 1st December: conference begins with an opening session, followed by a day of presentations and workshops.
Day Two – Friday, 2nd December: Full day of presentations and workshops
Day Three – Saturday, 3rd December: The final day which comprises more presentations and workshops.

Paper presentation and workshop should be around the following sub-themes

- Open data development and data right protection
- OpenStreetMap Community Growth and expansion
- Youth empowerment
- Open Map and Gender program
Paper submission should be guided by the following: full names of authors and affiliation, not more than 250 words in 12p Times Roman words.
